During the COVID pandemic, online meetings became a norm.

Our client, one of the largest financial institutions in the world, did not want to use an ordinary platform for video chats. Their brand stands for the highest standards of quality, a premium norm had to be sustained in times of remote functioning. They wanted to give their customers the highest quality experience – and keep the premium feel of their products.

Our client had a lot of requirements for their online meeting tool:

  • It had to have a premium feel – it had to be and look exclusive and custom-made.
  • It had to be user-friendly and intuitive since it was meant for people often without vast technological knowledge.
  • The tool had to allow multistreaming, and have as little back-end as possible.
  • The time frame was strict – the client expected to start using this tool in a span of a few months.
  • Finally, it needed to ensure the complete anonymity of participants.

One crucial need for our client, a prominent financial institution, was ironclad security. Given their numerous and stringent legal obligations, any oversights or gaps in security measures simply couldn’t be tolerated.

Our Approach

Given the limited time, we decided to use an existing tool and convert it to meet the client’s requirements. That decision served us right in a few ways:

  • thanks to choosing a tool the client was already using (WebEX), we could omit the time needed for the legal team to approve the use of the new software – in finances industries such process could take even months, or years; 
  • this particular tool allowed us to focus on front-end, and push as many changes as possible on WebEX’s servers – thanks to that, our client needed to host only front-end layer of the tool, not the back-end (that usually takes much longer to be implemented);
  • a huge collection of WebEX’s libraries let us speed up the development process.

Ensuring maximum security was our top priority. We went above and beyond to safeguard the participants’ data by preventing the tool from requesting access to their microphones or cameras, and prohibiting any attempts to join as a presenter.

The tool was designed to be extremely user-friendly and intuitive, with easy access through a web browser. Additionally, we have automated the event joining process, making it as simple as just one click for attendees to watch and participate.

We developed an exclusive and user-friendly tool that can organize numerous video conferences every month, accommodating up to 100 attendees, while safeguarding their anonymity. Plus, it comes at a very minimal cost to our client.


The client can easily organize and manage a dozen video conferences per month – even if they are taking place at the same time.

The tool the client presents to their customers is safe – no data about the clients is stored or processed, the participants stay anonymous for the whole event and after it.

The tool was created in a span of a few months – the client was able to use it very fast.

The tool, simple to use and available in any internet browser, lets the client connect with their clients despite pandemic restrictions, and show them how important they are, and maintain the relationship.
