Simple billing for thousands of tenants with one application
We developed an application that calculates how much each tenant should pay for the rented space and for in a given month. It does not only determinate the fee but also solves the problem with charging tenants for shared facilities.
Previously, the process took 30 days – during that time, employees were checking water and gas meters, gathered electricity bills, and then calculated the fees. Now the process takes no longer than 5 days – meters still have to be checked manually, but the calculations are being done in a fraction of time.
The application was written in ASP.NET, with SQL database, Nhibernate and DevExpress controls.
Benefits
The time to calculate monthly tenants fees got shortened by 80% – from 30 to only 5 days.
The process got much easier. Now the employee needs to only enter the data from meters and bills to the application – the rest is done by the software. That makes preparing bills for several thousand tenants a task much less daunting.
