With our client, we decided the best course of action is to migrate the application to the cloud. It opened up great opportunities for the client’s business, like auto-scalability, cost reduction, and resistance to high servers’ loads.
The first task was to decompose the client’s application. As a result, we had a few applications, ready to be migrated to the cloud.
To achieve the greatest flexibility, as well as the best environment for development, we decided on Platform as a Service. Cloud Foundry PaaS on AWS hosting was a perfect choice for this client.
The last steps were to configure the new environment – for example, to make it possible to deploy many times a day. Of course, during the whole project, we kept testing our solutions, to ensure there are no hidden bugs or any problems.
Infrastructure is scalable. Customer defines baseline performance and enable auto-scaling to handle unexpected spikes of usage.
Customer pays only for the currently required infrastructure size of the application.
Deployment can happen many times a day because it is short and simple.
After carefully evaluating suppliers, we decided to try a new approach and start working with a near-shore software house. Cooperation with Hicron Software House was something different, and it turned out to be a great success that brought added value to our company.
